DPExchange.net Overview
Acsis, Inc., a leading provider of automated data collection solutions for the supply chain, introduces DPExchange.net, the new, on-line service for supply chain execution among trading partners. The site allows customers to provide mission-critical information to partners in the supply chain utilizing the latest technologies in ERP integration, database extraction, XML communication, RF data collection (barcode and RFID tracking) and wireless enterprise event updates to cell phones, pagers, PDAs and other intelligent appliances.

DPEXchange.Net - Vendor Compliance Labeling - From the Purchase Order information extracted from the customers ERP system, DPExchange.net allows the supplier to generate fully compliant barcode labels. There is no need for sophisticated barcode-labeling software. Individual, carton, pallet and quick receive barcode labels are automatically generated from the system.

DPExchange.net Vendor Compliance Labeling -is the first of many services offered by Acsis to support Supply Chain Execution between trading partners. Using only a browser and barcode printer, suppliers can now print fully compliant bar code labels using information from the customers data base.

The concept of a Web-based vendor labeling system has grown out of the need for customers to receive materials from many suppliers that are accurately and consistently labeled and contain information that will expedite the receiving process.

Using traditional approaches to this need could require several hundred vendors to purchase, design, develop, and implement systems and procedures to support a compliance program. DPExchange.net addresses these needs through an easy to use browser based web site.

DP Exchange.Net allows us to easily print Vendor Compliance Labels creating a more efficient Supply Chain between ourselves and our customers

Customer Site
Purchase Order (P.O.) and Delivery information is extracted from the customer host system and transferred to the DataPass Exchange (DPEX) Web server. This information is automatically extracted and transferred on a schedule determined by the customer.

When the transferred information is received, the vendor stores it in the DPEX database. Each time information is transferred; it replaces the open Purchase Order informa-tion already in the database

Vendor Facility
The vendor may access the DPEX web site through a browser. After logging on, the vendor is presented with a list of open deliveries for that vendor. Upon selecting a delivery, the vendor is presented with a list of items, item descriptions, quantity ordered, unit of measure and the number of labels that have already been printed. When an item is selected for printing, the vendor may enter a lot number and the number of labels to print. The DPEX web server will then cause the labels to print on a barcode label printer at the vendor’s facility.

By using DPExchange.net software, all data can be easily integrated into the appropriate ERP, legacy or SCM systems. It also provides the ability to print all paperwork and documentation for the movement of goods including bill of ladings, barcode labels, and invoices.

DPExchange.net ASN provides an easy and cost effect method to gain visibility to our inventory into our third party warehouses.
